If your research interests combine mathematics and biology, consider attending the Society for Mathematical Biology Annual Meeting next July 11-17, 2017. Travel should be inexpensive, as the venue is just a short drive down the road in Salt Lake City, UT.
Don’t miss this opportunity!
The SMB annual meeting is held in North America every 2 years (the other years it is held abroad; see the list of past meetings) and the closest it’s ever been to NV was in 2002 when it was hosted at ASU. Information about past meetings can be found at at http://smb.org/meetings/annual.shtml[smb.org]
Deadlines, program, and other information for the 2017 meeting will appear in the coming months here.
March 1 is the next deadline for submitting requests for new scientific and educational activities at NIMBioS, including Working Groups and Investigative Workshops. For information on what NIMBioS funds and does not fund as well as application requirements, click here.
